Adjective and Adverb

Kata Sifat dan Kata Keterangan

·         Adjective atau Kata Sifat yakni kata-kata yang memodifikasi Noun (kata benda). Adjective menjelaskan wacana ibarat apa sesuatu atau seseorang itu terlihat.

Contoh:

He is a smart boy.

My car is really fast.

She has a big house.

·         Adverb atau Kata Keterangan yakni kata-kata yang menjelaskan wacana bagaimana sesuatu terjadi atau bagaimana seseorang melaksanakan sesuatu. Adverb memodifikasi Verb (Kata Kerja).

Biasanya kita menambahkan akhiran -ly pada kata sifat untuk menciptakan kata tersebut menjadi kata keterangan.

Contoh:

He opened the door slowly.

The wind is blowing softly.

Raisa sang beautifully.

·         Kata-kata dibawah ini memiliki bentuk adjective dan adverb yang sama.
